This can be helpful in setting restrictions on the call duration, phone usage times, applications, web browsers, text message content etc. This is the first way to how to restrict your child’s cell phone usage by which you can prevent your child from getting addicted to excessive usage.

When the child is presented with a cell phone the parents can sit down and talk with the child about the various ill effects and the dangers of misuse. The final resort to how to restrict your child’s cell phone usage is to buy a cell phone monitoring software. Such software will provide you with all the information like the calls, messages, chats, web browsing, photos and even the current location of the cell phone. This might also come in use in case the cell phone is lost, as you can delete all the content through your software interface and thus protect important data from being passed onto wrong hands.

Very informative post thanks for sharing, nowadays making teens stay off their cell phone is like asking fish stay out of water, either you accept it or not teens of the day are badly addicted to their cell phones, though totally separating your teenage kids from their cell phone is not feasible yet keeping the addiction away is quite possible and is pretty necessary as well.

I don’t agree on using cell phone monitoring sofware to restrict a child’s cell phone usage. I think the better way is to educate the child properly. If that didn’t work on him/her, than sorry, NO CELL PHONE for you kiddo until you learned what is right or wrong!
