IT Security Column Renovated with More Features

AnnouncementGood Day everyone.

This entry basically describes what had happened to IT Security Column recently with the changes that you had seen over here now. So lets keep it simple. I have 4 things to share and they are as below:

1 – IT Security Column is now powered by Genesis

Proudly, I would like to announce that this blog is now powered by the Genesis Framework by Studiopress. I had spent about a day to configure the entire site to fit with this powerful framework. Initially, I bought a Child Theme from them which I basically find it difficult to configure the Home page. I made a complain for a refund and I was responded in less than 24 hours. The most impressive thing is, I don’t even have to go through a tough and long Q&A session and they just refunded to me the Child Theme that I had bought. I then go for another Child Theme and here it is, the News Child Theme. I have some issues with this Child Theme as well but got responded from their Support Forum in less than 12 hours. Overall, this framework is powerful and the Customer Support is simply awesome. If you want to start a new website or blog, I would recommend the Genesis Framework.

2. IT Security Column is now PR 2 with DoFollow (of course)

Although I am a little disappointed with the PR2 update from Google as I am expecting at least PR3, but I still have to accept and glad to know that some of my pages are PR3. Google PR does not play a big role in SEO, but still good to have it score high. Alghouth there is an increase of PageRank on this blog, the comment policy does not change. It is still a dofollow blog for every piece of comment you make as long as you follow the Comment Policy.

3. IT Security Column rewards Top 5 Commentators

Commentators are my true readers. I would like you all to know that I value your comment and if you are one of my top 5 readers, I will reward you with a dofollow link at every page of this blog using the Top Commentators Widget at the footer below. As a result, read, contribute and I will reward.

4. IT Security Column is now on BuySellAds

This blog needs to survive and in order to survive, I need to sell some advertisement space apart from my Google Adsense earnings. It is those earnings that made me able to switch this site to the Genesis Framework. If you are interested to advertise on this site, just head over to my listing at BuySellAds.
