IT Security Column Launched The Fun Zone

Greetings fellow readers,

IT Security Column had been around the web for four months by now and it is great that the blog had already reached the Alexa ranking of less than 600,000 and Google Page Ranked ‘+1’. The Facebook fan base as well had already reached 70 over users from nothing and it is something great to share for now. Although the Twitter’s followers, RSS subscribers and email subscribers are still under performed, but I am sure as time moves on it will continue to improve with the support from everyone.

As you read through all my post, you do realize that I can get quite serious when talking about security. Perhaps it could be that it is some issue not to be messed with and thus I don’t joke around with it. However, my personality is a little sense of humor as well and at least in this non-security related post, I will be able to show a little more about myself.

One thing I realize a weakness about this blog is people coming in and search for the things that they want and then they leave. It is pretty normal because I did the same as well when I visited some website for a purpose and leave immediately when I got my answer. What I am going to add into this blog is another category which is not so serious and yet fun and it is called the Fun Zone.

What is Fun Zone? Fun Zone is a category where I will compile interesting stuff like jokes, quotes, funny pictures, and maybe funny short clips. I will try to relate the fun stuff to computers and internet and if possible, I will narrow to the security niche. As it is just started, the entry will not be a lot temporarily. I would also not going to spam that category with many posts but to let it increase steadily as the objective of this blog is still security. I will kick off this category with the post ‘Google+ vs Facebook’ where the two giant finally meet one to one to compete.

Thank you for reading and supporting so far.
