Apple Patches iPad and iPhone to Stop JailBreakMe

appleApple has released the latest patch for its iOS version 4.3.4 to fix the vulnerability exploited from JailBreakMe on their iPad and iPhone. A quick recap on this issue for the readers who were lost on this issue. Ten days before Apple released this patch, Comex of JailBreakme manage to jailbreak the likes of Apple devices such as iPad and iPhone by exploiting the iOS vulnerability.

Summary of JailBreakMe Before Apple’s Patch

The jailbreak process is extremely painless as it does not require any physical connection from your device to the computer. On top of that, even children who can understand simple English can also perform the jailbreak. However, being able to easily jailbreak the device do raise a very high security concern to all the iPhone and iPad. That is why Apple released the iOS patch in a short period of ten days time. If you do not require the jailbreak feature, it is strongly recommended to update to the latest iOS. Do remember that after patching your iOS, you will no longer be able to jailbreak your Apple device via JailBreakMe anymore.
